Located at the conjuncture of the Eastern Caribbean Sea’s Lesser Antilles and Atlantic Ocean, north of the Equator; Antigua & Barbuda are well-known; however, the country has several smaller islands too, together covering a total area of 440 km2 . Antigua’s intricate coastline creates numerous beaches, bays, headlands and harbours, with Mount Obama, a volcanic crater, forming the highest peak at 402 meters high. Liberta

Established in 1695 by Christopher and John Codrington and named after them, Codrington is the only major city on Barbuda. It hosts the Barbuda Caribana Festival in May each year.
